Midnapore Collegiate School - the glorious school aged 177 years!

This is the blog of Midnapore Collegiate School, one of the few schools in India who have crossed the age limit of 175 years. Founded in 1834, this Bengali medium school is now 177 years old, with a glorious past, ecstatic present and shiny bright future. This was formerly the Zilla School of Midnapore (currently Paschim Medinipur) at West Bengal. The school has a big campus, with a basket ball court, and it has well-equipped science labs, Experienced teachers and bright students. The school is famous as a renowned educational powerhouse with great result in both the Madhyamik and the Higher Secondary examinations. The students of this school also shine in competitive exam like JEE, NCERT, Olympiad etc. The school now consists of 47 teachers and about 1400 students.
